The poetry section of the issue presents poems by Semen Lipkin, Maxim Amelin and Yuri Kublanovsky.

We are publishing the end of the narrative “The Merry Soldier” by Victor Astafyev (the beginning is in No.5), as well as short stories by Teodor Vulfovich and Yuri Buyda.

In the section “Far Nearness” we are finishing to publish the memoirs notes of 1976 — 1980 by Igor Dedkov (see the beginning in No.5).

The section “Publications and Reports” contains the ending of the essay “Splinters of the Silver Century” by Vitaly Shentalinsky (the beginning is in No.5).

In the section “Literary Criticism” we are publishing the essays “The Phenomenon of Pushkin in the Light of Obvious Things” by V. Nepomnyashchy and “So Why on Earth Mandelshtam?” by Sergei Averintsev.

The issue also presents our traditional sections “Reviews”, “Bibliography” and a new one, “Prize”.
